The house evokes mid-20th century Modern with its clean, extended roof lines, open layout, polished concrete floors, and ample glass, combined with 21st century energy efficient, “green building” features, including solar powered roof panels.
The interior has an open floor plan with a great room that elegantly melds indoor and outdoor, with a large expanse of metal and glass that provides ample sunlight and opens to southern views of the pool, spa/waterfall, in-ground fire pit, and the majestic San Jacinto Mountains.
The kitchen is fully stocked for the avid cook and features Bosch stainless steel appliances, including a 36” built-in cook top with 5 burners, 30” self cleaning convection oven, 30” convection microwave, fully integrated dishwasher with quiet operation feature, custom cabinetry, and an oversized Alexander stone island that seats six. The adjacent dining area can accommodate up to eight guests.
You also have your own granite topped bar that once graced the Presidential Suite at the world famous Beverly Hills Hotel. The bar sports an enclosed mini refrigerator, side storage shelves, and plenty of barware, so you can mix your favorite adult beverages with ease.
The living room area offers comfortable and stylish seating for seven in front of the 45' linear gas fireplace and 55” HD Smart TV, along with HD Smart Streaming Blu-Ray disc player. High speed wireless internet and cable include a Preferred TV package featuring more than 200 channels (including HBO, Showtime and EPIX), DVR capabilities (so you don't miss any of your favorite shows), Netflix and extreme internet with 30 mbps and unlimited home phone (with free long-distance calling nationwide and to Canada).
This home offers two private bedroom suites on opposite sides of the house and a third bedroom with a third bathroom located directly across the hall.
The master bedroom stays true to mid-century Modern, with its 1950s cinema artwork, all-new furnishings, glass sliding doors opening to the outdoor pool, and polished concrete floors. The suite features a Cal King bed, a 50” Smart HD TV with cable box, a double sink vanity, a large soaking tub, an oversized glass enclosed walk-in granite shower, and a large walk-in closet.
The second bedroom suite also sports a Cal King bed, a 37 “ Smart HD TV and cable box, and a bathroom with double sink vanity, glass enclosed walk-in granite shower, and walk-in closet.
The third bedroom offers a queen size bed, 32” inch Smart HD TV and cable box, and an oversized closet. A third bathroom with a glass enclosed shower is conveniently located directly across the hall.
Enjoy the outside desert oasis day and night with a sparkling pool(pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information), spa, and in ground fire pit. Relax and take in the expansive mountain views as you float in the heated pool, tan in a lounge chair or relax around the fire. This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away, from area casinos and gambling, to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Racquet Club Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
