Welcome to the home we're calling "PS Martini". Uncomplicated, stylish and comfortable, it’s the perfect Palm Springs vacation getaway and the only place you’ll want to mix or stir a cocktail while in town. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and just under 1,300 square feet, this is an original Alexander home featuring his iconic architectural esthetic Palm Springs is known for. Plus the outdoor dining room, multiple fire pits and sitting areas increase your entertaining space and maximize the enjoyment of the sparkling pool and glorious mountain views. You’ll find the home warm, open with enough whimsy to make you smile!
Hobby chefs will enjoy the kitchen: stainless appliances, gas top range… it’s all there! The kitchen is well-appointed with dishes, bar and glassware to enhance the entertaining experience. You can prepare cocktails at the island, just steps from the pool action or use the island as a buffet, just steps from the patio table. Glass sliders offer seamless indoor/outdoor living and the chef never misses a beat! The kitchen has been well-stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, appliances and more. There's plenty of serving pieces to entertain the household and make each meal, indoors or outside, special.
The dining room can comfortably seat 6-8 guests for dinner. Situated just off the living room and kitchen, the open floor plan allows for ideal entertaining, indoors or out.
There is a great mix of sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom features a king bed, 50-inch TV and private bathroom (step-in shower). There are glass doors with direct access to the backyard fire pit and pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information). Guest room 1 features a king bed and 40-inch TV and guest room 2 features a queen bed. The guest bath features a shower/tub combo.
The lot makes for spectacular outdoor living. Off the dining room, there is the patio set up as an outdoor dining room seating 6-8 guests. Perfectly situated just out the kitchen is a natural gas grill. That’s right. No propane tanks to swap at this home. Chaises and umbrellas complete the poolside lounging experience and ensure plenty of the group can capitalize on the sun and leave with envy-inducing tans.
This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away, from area casinos and gambling, to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Racquet Club Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
