UPDATED INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19
During these challenging times, we wanted to have a dedicated space where our guests can review updates to the current events effecting our city and how we as a team are responding. Continue checking back for up-to-the-minute information.UPDATE APRIL 3, 2020
The county has continued to clarify their tourism shut down and, sadly extended the date into June whereby we can host our next arrival. Currently, the next guest arrival can be on or after Saturday, June 20. If you have a reservation that is effected, please email [email protected] and we make arrangements to (hopefully) reschedule the trip or arrange a credit for a future return to Palm Springs. As with the previous order, this applies to extended stays over 28 nights. We do hope this is reviewed soon and the shut-down is shortened. Please continue to check our page for an updated time frame.
There are still exemptions in which we can offer to you safe, clean EMERGENCY housing:
- You reside locally and have received a positive diagnosis for Covid 19. You need to quarantine/isolate yourself from family or friends living with you.
- You reside locally and have someone living in your house who is either positive or suspected positive for Covid 19. You need to safely isolate yourself and family from them.
- You are a professional coming to Palm Springs at the request of an "essential industry or company" to serve our community. This is probably going to be related to the medical industry.
If you do not meet these exceptions, remember that the Governor of California has issued a state-side "shelter in place" order we strongly urge you to stay safe, calm and (most importantly) stay home! We will get through this together.
Email [email protected]. Remember that we are working from home mostly and in the office for limited hours with limited staff. Our response might be slowed but we will address your need(s).
UPDATE: MARCH 20, 2020
County management along with the local health departments, under the supervision of our City Mayor, has closed our beloved Palm Springs to tourism for the next few weeks. We are no longer able to have any guest arrivals, effective immediately, until the end of April 30, 2020. The next guest arrival that Palm Springs may entertain via hotels or vacation rentals is Friday, May 1. The city has made clear that while we can accept reservations arriving after this date, this "shut down" may be extended to protect public health and each guest that books does so with the understand they may have to reschedule. This also applies to extended stay reservations for one, two or even three months.
There are some exceptions relating to the quarantine and isolation needs, medical professionals, etc. We can provide you more details should we need to have the conversation specific to your situation.
E-mail [email protected] for more information.
