Welcome to the home we're calling "PS Envy". It's a relaxing, comfortable and welcoming home; perfect for the ideal Palm Springs vacation getaway. Built in 1961, this is an original Alexander home featuring his iconic architectural aesthetic Palm Springs is known for. Any guest will appreciate the comforts and amenities the home offers from its sparkling pool to glorious views. Mid-century enthusiasts will delight in the true-to-original décor. You’ll find the home open and warm with just enough whimsy to make you smile each time you come home.
Every detail has been considered to suit the home's guests: it has been well-appointed and equipped to suit every visitor. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, shimmering saltwater pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information) and hot tub, natural gas grill, outdoor dining and plenty of outdoor lounge seating, huge fire pit, gaming court (ping pong, bocce)… every guest will feel welcome! Hi-speed internet is at top speed so it can easily support all your devices. An excellent cable package enhances your retreat experience.
Hobby chefs will be thrilled to cook in the kitchen: stainless appliances, Carrera marble, gas top range… it’s all there to entertain the guests you travel with. You can prepare cocktails at the island, just steps from the pool action or use the island as a buffet, just steps from the patio table. Glass sliders offer seamless indoor/outdoor living and the chef never misses a beat! The kitchen has been well-stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, appliances and more. There's plenty of serving pieces to entertain the household and make each meal, indoors or outside, special.
The dining room can comfortably seat 8-10 guests for dinner. Situated just off the living room, next to glass sliding doors, you can entertain both indoors and out, at the same time, and still enjoy company from the living room.
There is a great mix of sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom (walk-in shower. Guest room 1 features a king bed and guest room 2 features a queen bed with a shared bathroom in the hallway (shower/tub combo). Separate from the main home, there is a casita featuring a king bed, private bathroom (shower/tub combo), seating area and breakfast nook. The casita also has its own private outdoor patio. It’s a perfect retreat for grandparents, a nanny or a guest wanting to enjoy a bit more privacy while traveling with their favorite friends. If the kids are old enough to sleep away from the home, this is an ideal teenager’s wing! There are TV's in each bedroom.
The lot makes for spectacular outdoor living. Off the dining room, there is the patio with outdoor dining and seating for 8-10 guests. Perfectly situated just out the kitchen and around the corner from the dining table is a natural gas grill. No propane tanks to swap at this home and no harsh grill smoke wafting over your dinner guests. Chaises and umbrellas complete the poolside lounging experience. Recline on the full-sized lounge bed for an afternoon nap or star gazing at night. More chaise lounges ensure plenty of the group can capitalize on the sun and leave with envy-educing tans. On the other side of the yard, you'll enjoy an outdoor gaming court. Yes, there is a ping pong table, bocce court, horse shoes, corn hole; daytime fun at it's best! By night, a huge fire pit for evening cocktails under the stars.

My 4 friends and I have been having this once a yr. reunion for almost 30 years. We've all known each other since grammar school, and we think we've stayed friends for so long because none of us have sisters. We come from all over the country- NY, NJ, Oregon and L.A.. This year was a little disappointing because of the weather ( cold and windy) and the time change ( the days were shorter, the pool was tough to get Into because of clouds) but the house was perfect- all the beds were comfy, the hot tub was VERY popular, and the restaurants were great! We did have to buy 2 adult size floats for the pool ( there were only children's sized there, which we ended up bringing home. The view from the pool was beautiful- snow on the mountain tops!

Everything was perfect, there was plenty of space for everyone. The place was super clean and well stocked. Communication with the owner was absolutely wonderful! Gregg kept telling us to contact him if we needed anything and luckily we didnt really have too many questions but I liked feeling like I could have contacted him if I needed to. Also loved that everything we could have possibly needed was there. They even had pool towels and floaties, although next time I would probably bring a couple more because there was only 2 but still very enjoyable. We really loved the aesthetic and the decor and loved the whole backyard area too. The pool was a lifesaver because it was so hot outside. The little casita in the back was perfect for the kids, they were so stoked to have their own private space. It was close to shopping, grocery store down the street, lots of food options and downtown was close by as well. We all agreed that the location was absolutely perfect. A perfect weekend was had by all. A couple of things that were a little bit of a bummer was the no music rule outside, but thats obviously a Palm Springs rule and not the owner's fault so I definitely wouldnt take any stars off for that or anything and the other thing that was kind of a bummer was not being able to turn the AC down. It got really hot at night to the point where we would wake up sweating. But other than that, it was great, and we would definitely stay here again.

We booked for the 4th of July extended wknd and communication was excellent from the start. Clear and detailed info on the property and check-in process. Gregg was quick to respond and attentive to all communication. The house itself was perfect for our family, and extended family. House had everything we needed for our stay. Pool/jacuzzi were a hit! 2 kids under 5 and adults loved it!! Casita was super cute and perfect for the grandparents. Property location is convenient, short drive away fr downtown PS. Neighborhood is nice and quiet, fabulous house to go to relax and enjoy. We would definitely go back again. Thank you!!

We rented this house for a girls trip, 8 total ladies. It was perfect for our big group. Plenty of space to spread out. Comfortable beds! We absolutely loved the salt water pool; so much better than stinky chlorine. We had one small problem when the refrigerator wasn't working. The management company was so fast to fix the problem, just fantastic service! We would absolutely stay here again!

We recently stayed here with my family for my sons wedding. We loved the place! I was a little reluctant to book because there were not many reviews but decided to take the risk. The landscaping & pool are the highlights of this place for sure! Gorgeous views of the mountains. Open & Bright floor plan with a glass slider that open up the kitchen to the yard. Completely private! There were a few quirky little things but nothing to detract from our stay. We were very happy and would definitely book this place again. Thanks!

We had the best time here!! The house is beautiful and the pictures 100% reflected the house in real life. We did have minor issues when we first got there (some outlets in the kitchen werent working, house was a bit warm for us and needed an extra fan) and Gregg, the property manager, was quick to answer and come over and fix the issue. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was stocked pretty well! We loved spending hours outside in the pool. Very close to downtown Palm Springs! Absolutely perfect and we already cant wait to come back!

Great Palm Springs Get Away! Location in a quite neighborhood . Private yard with great space. We loved the casita and the main house. Nicely decorated. Needs newer outdoor furniture cushions, out door table and updates on major kitchen appliances to truly be an Envy in PS. The back yard door latch was sticking causing three people to get cut during our stay.

"Relax Palm Springs" met the website photos and descriptions to every point! We especially appreciated all of the cabinet and drawer labels in the kitchen as well as the wide variety of supplies. Communicating with the team to have any and all questions answered was quick and easy. It was convenient to have the information handbook emailed in advance. We also loved the privacy and convenience of the Casita! That is worth the stay at "RelaxPS"! I forgot several items in the Casita closet and it was mailed to me the very next day! The location of the house is in a quiet, lovely street. However, look carefully for the address on the front of the house, it's there! It's a nice neighborhood to walk in with a park around the corner. Oh, it's pet friendly! That was wonderful!!

We wanted to take a few days away from quarantine. Found this home with casita for the great grandparents. And 3 additional BRs for the other two generations. Perfect size for the 6 adults and 2 children. The home was well stocked with essentials ( however, no salt, spices, sugar etc). Lots of yard activities for kids in addition to pool. I would stay here again for sure.

What a lovely house! Our group originally rented PSEnvy in April, but due to the pandemic had to move it to September. The property managers smoothly managed the rescheduling despite the continued uncertainties. Our September stay was perfect. The mid-century decor in both the main house and the casita is charming, and the main kitchen is well laid out and well-stocked with basics as well as a number of serving dishes. We enjoyed the backyard as much as the high temps would allow, sitting on the chaise lounges in the mornings, and enjoying the pool each afternoon and evening. Basically, a wonderful spot for close friends to get together to relax, eat and swim.

Stayed here for my *cough* 60th birthday with a few of my closest friends. The property was comfortable, centrally located, and perfect for a quarantined getaway. We only ventured out to eat twice (one dinner and one lunch) but the kitchen was super-well stocked with all cooking utensils imaginable, and there are a large variety of restaurants that deliver. My family and some family friends take a. yearly PS trip. This year we were able to enjoy our time at PsENVY and enjoyed every minute of it. The host responded quickly to any and all questions we had. The directions and all that were given to us were super helpful not to mention the house was very neat and spacious. Lastly, as long as you have your noise/music level at a respectful manner you will be fine.

The space is great. Super fast responses about the place via text while staying there. Had an issue with water pressure in the kitchen and they were there to fix it before we even returned from the grocery store. Outside living area was perfect - the fire pit, hot tub, pool, and lounge chairs were all in great shape. Parts of the home seem like theyve been AirBnB-lived in but thats to be expected. Water sometimes went cold, but we reported this and Im sure theyll have it addressed right away. The house was as advertised and true to the pics. Frankly, everything worked out great for our group of 8 adults. Proximity to everything you want to do was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.
