Welcome to the home we're calling "PS Envy". It's a relaxing, comfortable and welcoming home; perfect for the ideal Palm Springs vacation getaway. Built in 1961, this is an original Alexander home featuring his iconic architectural aesthetic Palm Springs is known for. Any guest will appreciate the comforts and amenities the home offers from its sparkling pool to glorious views. Mid-century enthusiasts will delight in the true-to-original décor. You’ll find the home open and warm with just enough whimsy to make you smile each time you come home.
Every detail has been considered to suit the home's guests: it has been well-appointed and equipped to suit every visitor. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, shimmering saltwater pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information) and hot tub, natural gas grill, outdoor dining and plenty of outdoor lounge seating, huge fire pit, gaming court (ping pong, bocce)… every guest will feel welcome! Hi-speed internet is at top speed so it can easily support all your devices. An excellent cable package enhances your retreat experience.
Hobby chefs will be thrilled to cook in the kitchen: stainless appliances, Carrera marble, gas top range… it’s all there to entertain the guests you travel with. You can prepare cocktails at the island, just steps from the pool action or use the island as a buffet, just steps from the patio table. Glass sliders offer seamless indoor/outdoor living and the chef never misses a beat! The kitchen has been well-stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, appliances and more. There's plenty of serving pieces to entertain the household and make each meal, indoors or outside, special.
The dining room can comfortably seat 8-10 guests for dinner. Situated just off the living room, next to glass sliding doors, you can entertain both indoors and out, at the same time, and still enjoy company from the living room.
There is a great mix of sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom (walk-in shower. Guest room 1 features a king bed and guest room 2 features a queen bed with a shared bathroom in the hallway (shower/tub combo). Separate from the main home, there is a casita featuring a king bed, private bathroom (shower/tub combo), seating area and breakfast nook. The casita also has its own private outdoor patio. It’s a perfect retreat for grandparents, a nanny or a guest wanting to enjoy a bit more privacy while traveling with their favorite friends. If the kids are old enough to sleep away from the home, this is an ideal teenager’s wing! There are TV's in each bedroom.
The lot makes for spectacular outdoor living. Off the dining room, there is the patio with outdoor dining and seating for 8-10 guests. Perfectly situated just out the kitchen and around the corner from the dining table is a natural gas grill. No propane tanks to swap at this home and no harsh grill smoke wafting over your dinner guests. Chaises and umbrellas complete the poolside lounging experience. Recline on the full-sized lounge bed for an afternoon nap or star gazing at night. More chaise lounges ensure plenty of the group can capitalize on the sun and leave with envy-educing tans. On the other side of the yard, you'll enjoy an outdoor gaming court. Yes, there is a ping pong table, bocce court, horse shoes, corn hole; daytime fun at it's best! The house is lovely. Stylish, well equipped kitchen, amazing pool and backyard, plenty of parking, cozy indoor and outdoor fireplaces. My husband and I stayed in the casita with our 1 year old. It was perfect for that situation with its partial kitchen. We could keep bottle making stuff out of the main space and people didnt have to worry about making noise after she went to sleep. This sounds like a trivial bonus but most lights were on a dimmer which also helped with the baby. The only note for guests would be to check with the management before your stay that the pipes have been tended to, to remove roots. They are very aware of the issue, they told us. They also had someone out to clear the pipes the day we came so it wasnt a big deal but we did experience slow drainage in the bathroom sinks and some slight loss of water pressure in the shower. I appreciate the way they were very upfront and responsive about it. We had a wonderful holiday and would stay again.

Great house with great light and style. The backyard, though, is the show-stopper. We celebrated my wife's 30th birthday here and spent almost the entirety of it in the pool, in the hot tub, on the sun chairs, or around the fire. Enough space for a big group to hang together and enough distinct areas for small groups to splinter off on their own.

We would absolutely stay at PS Envy again! The house is beautiful inside and out. You can't help but be relaxed the moment you arrive. Jonathan from Relax Palm Springs was great! He met us at check in to give us a tour and when we needed a couple of things during our stay he was right on it! We were a family of 8 plus an infant and we had tons of room. We all loved sitting around the pool during the day and the fire pit at night. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a house to rent in the Palm Springs area. Can't wait to go back!

Loved the house! It was just as described. Communication was quick and easy. Jay was very accommodating and very prompt to answer questions and/or fix any issues (the towel bar in one of the bathrooms broke off and he had someone over right away to fix it). Our group consisted of 8 people and we had plenty of space. We loved the open floor plan and pretty much utilized all parts of the house like the BBQ grill, the tanning/lounging area, hot tub, the corn-hole game, floats for the pool, you name it. My personal favorite part was the SALTWATER pool and outside dining area which was enjoyed the entire time. I would definitely recommend this house and would stay again in the future. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is exactly as described and pictured. Our hosts were infinitely kind, communicative, and flexible with our check-in and check-out processes, because we had so many people arriving/leaving at various times. The heated pool and jacuzzi were a perfect temperature for the spring chill. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were gorgeously decorated and I could essentially live there forever. The fire pit, corn hole, ping pong tables, all came in handy during the weekend. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and lovely. The only one minor thing that I can think of that would've made the stay even more incredible would have been to offer a few bicycles to explore the area with. Thank you, Scott & team for everything!

My friends and I celebrated my bachelorette weekend at PS Envy. The house was perfect and comfortable for a group of 7 girls and it was well equipped with everything we needed for the long weekend. We all loved the decor of the house and the view from the backyard. The bonfire was perfect for the chilly evenings and the lounge chairs by the pool were perfect for hanging out in the sun during the day. We were so sad to leave and I will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Amazing Private Vacation Home! This is a wonderful rental house for anyone looking to get away to Palm Springs for the weekend! My friends and I had a great time enjoying the pool, bbq, firepit, bocce ball court and Jacuzzi spa. There were 8 of us (4 couples) and the 4 beds, 3 baths were perfect for a group of friends, and would be great for families too. The house was clean and contemporary, but with classic Palm Springs touches of mid-century modern. Awesome kitchen for cooking (we made breakfast together every morning), and tall hedges in the backyard/pool area for privacy. I loved the location too because it is so close to the airport and just a couple minutes from the downtown restaurants and nightlife. Scott Fields and his team at RelaxPS (Craig and Jonathan) were so friendly and knowledgeable about the home and the area; they really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! I will definitely be staying here again on future trips to PS. First-class service!

Loved This House! My partner and I, along with several friends, spent a lovely long weekend here recently and have nothing but good things to say about it. The house itself was elegantly decorated, yet warm and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with every amenity a cook could want. There are three very comfortable bedrooms and two baths in the main house and a separate, private guest house with it's own bath and kitchenette that's prefect for couples. We chose the particular property after reading a previous review about it being pet friendly, and so it was. The two small dogs in our group had a blast exploring the very secure yard and splashing around in the lovely salt water pool with the rest of us. We've worked with the property manager, Scott, before at other homes and, as always, he was EXTREMELY helpful. We've truly grown to appreciate Scott and the ease of booking his properties, the restaurant and shopping recommendations and, my personal favorite, the orientation tour.

We LOVED This House, Yard and Area of Palm Springs! Five of us rented this house over the long July 4th weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is very spacious with three bedrooms and two baths plus a large separate casita off the patio with another king bed, full bath and small refrigerator, microwave, sink and coffee maker plus it has its own private lounging area for privacy. All are decorated beautifully and in line with the mid century architectural design of the home. Really liked the open living room, dining area and kitchen with tons of windows overlooking the yard and pool. The photos are very accurate, but it is even better in person. The cul de sac it is on is very quiet and peaceful and yet it is a short 5 minute drive or $5.00 Uber ride to the center of town. The salt water pool with the large bean bag lounging rafts were great! We spent most of our days in the pool, bar B qing, or sunning on the comfy lounges on a raised patio above the pool area.

Perfect home for a long weekend stay! PS Envy was the PERFECT stay for our group of seven for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. We spent most of our time in the backyard and laying in the sun or lounging on the perfect bean bag floaties in the saltwater pool. The kitchen has a great layout for entertaining and it was stocked with EVERYTHING we needed to cook large meals for our weekend. The main house has three rooms (2 king beds and 1 queen), while the casita has a a king bed and its own bathroom. THE CASITA...so cute with it's orange creamsicle theme. The living room is beautifully decorated and stocked with a ton of movies and cable tv. There are no speakers in the house, I think to make sure you comply with the noise compliance rules, so I would recommend bringing your own speaker to listen to music while you cook dinner or eat (quietly). Craig and Scott were amazing and had awesome communication the whole time we were there and leading up to our stay.

Couldn't have enjoyed it more! We got a chance to stay in the home just before Christmas when our group was taking a last minute trip to Palm Springs. We usually book with Scott at Relax and he mentioned a new 4 bedroom rental he had coming up. He thought we'd like it and we wanted to stay there. But, it wasn't ready yet so we looked elsewhere. Through a series of events we really had no choice and had to stay there. Scott made it clear to us what was missing (and it was little stuff like some art on a wall, or a nightstand). What he said was missing wasn't a big deal to me; I trust him... so we booked. Once we were there, we didn't care one bit. It was exactly as he said it would be and it was AWESOME. Great neighborhood... Cool homes to walk around and look at. Close to downtown (although we only had one dinner away). Great house. Great management. Just GREAT!
