Welcome to the home we're calling "PS Envy". It's a relaxing, comfortable and welcoming home; perfect for the ideal Palm Springs vacation getaway. Built in 1961, this is an original Alexander home featuring his iconic architectural aesthetic Palm Springs is known for. Any guest will appreciate the comforts and amenities the home offers from its sparkling pool to glorious views. Mid-century enthusiasts will delight in the true-to-original décor. You’ll find the home open and warm with just enough whimsy to make you smile each time you come home.
Every detail has been considered to suit the home's guests: it has been well-appointed and equipped to suit every visitor. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, shimmering saltwater pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information) and hot tub, natural gas grill, outdoor dining and plenty of outdoor lounge seating, huge fire pit, gaming court (ping pong, bocce)… every guest will feel welcome! Hi-speed internet is at top speed so it can easily support all your devices. An excellent cable package enhances your retreat experience.
Hobby chefs will be thrilled to cook in the kitchen: stainless appliances, Carrera marble, gas top range… it’s all there to entertain the guests you travel with. You can prepare cocktails at the island, just steps from the pool action or use the island as a buffet, just steps from the patio table. Glass sliders offer seamless indoor/outdoor living and the chef never misses a beat! The kitchen has been well-stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, appliances and more. There's plenty of serving pieces to entertain the household and make each meal, indoors or outside, special.
The dining room can comfortably seat 8-10 guests for dinner. Situated just off the living room, next to glass sliding doors, you can entertain both indoors and out, at the same time, and still enjoy company from the living room.
There is a great mix of sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom (walk-in shower. Guest room 1 features a king bed and guest room 2 features a queen bed with a shared bathroom in the hallway (shower/tub combo). Separate from the main home, there is a casita featuring a king bed, private bathroom (shower/tub combo), seating area and breakfast nook. The casita also has its own private outdoor patio. It’s a perfect retreat for grandparents, a nanny or a guest wanting to enjoy a bit more privacy while traveling with their favorite friends. If the kids are old enough to sleep away from the home, this is an ideal teenager’s wing! There are TV's in each bedroom.
The lot makes for spectacular outdoor living. Off the dining room, there is the patio with outdoor dining and seating for 8-10 guests. Perfectly situated just out the kitchen and around the corner from the dining table is a natural gas grill. No propane tanks to swap at this home and no harsh grill smoke wafting over your dinner guests. Chaises and umbrellas complete the poolside lounging experience. Recline on the full-sized lounge bed for an afternoon nap or star gazing at night. More chaise lounges ensure plenty of the group can capitalize on the sun and leave with envy-educing tans. On the other side of the yard, you'll enjoy an outdoor gaming court. Yes, there is a ping pong table, bocce court, horse shoes, corn hole; daytime fun at it's best! By night, a huge fire pit for evening cocktails under the stars.

This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away, from area casinos and gambling, to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Racquet Club Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

Perfect Getaway. I just celebrated my 40th birthday at PS Envy with several friends and we all can't wait for our next trip back to the house. This property stood out while searching b/c of the gorgeous mod decor and open floor plan. Having all doors open from kitchen right out to pool was key. Whether in the kitchen or dining room, easy to chat and socialize with friends poolside. It's location to airport and downtown make it that much better. Once we arrived we all couldn't get over the interior decor and design, just as you see in the pics. Scott was beyond helpful and super friendly and all over making sure our needs were met. House was in immaculate condition and worked out perfectly for 8 friends. The casita is tucked away and truly great for more privacy. The "Dreamscicle" theme is so cool, we were fighting over who stayed in the casita! Hands down one of the most comfy, hip and cool places i've stayed in the desert and can't wait to book next visit with Scott!

True Palm Springs Oasis. Our family of three have enjoyed many VRBO rentals, however our recent stay at PS Envy was so positive that this is the first time we have felt compelled to post a review. The house is exactly as pictured; immaculately clean and tastefully decorated throughout as though stepping right out of a magazine. The open layout has great flow and makes for a real inside/outside airy feeling. The sparkling gem of this property is the back yard. Professionally landscaped with accent lighting and an array of local plant life, it makes for a true escape. The yard has been designed to take full advantage of the incredible mountain views, with vistas from every seating area. The pool is large and offers both shallow entry and a deep end. Finally, what really sets this property apart is the unparalleled service. This is a professionally run business whose owners have a vested interest in ensuring their guests have a seamless, perfect stay. Thanks again!

Don't be jealous. 4 couples decided to try a PS home rather than a hotel. Best decision. This spacious home with fully equipped kitchen, huge backyard with pool and whirlpool and great room gave us plenty of space to gather and eat. The mountain views with snow peaks was spectacular. Four bedrooms and three baths. I got the huge private detached casita poolside. An amazing getaway. No hotel for this group. Easy to book, immaculately clean, minutes to downtown.

Awesome Family Vacation Home with Wonderful Management. Stayed here with my spouse, kids and in laws for a family get away and loved every minute of it! The house is very clean, well kept and spacious. From the moment we inquired about available dates, up to our check out Scott and Craig, who manage the home, were exceptionally attentive and welcoming. We very much appreciated the in person check in and orientation to the house. It helped us all get a quick start to relaxing and swimming! They take great care in making sure you are comfortable and gave wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. We have rented vacation homes before and the attention to detail in the decor and amenities were very much appreciated. The mid century furniture was great and fit the home well. Loved the colors and accents especially in the living room and casita. Thank you Scott and Craig! We will be back soon!

We really liked the, PS Envy, house. The location, the house and the appointments were all what we needed. The house is on a cul-de-sac street so no thru-traffic, yet very close to downtown. The entire house is very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms have great hotel style beds with comfy linens and plush towels. There is great closet and dresser space for all of our stuff; which was really needed since we stayed a while. The separate casita was perfect and provided privacy too. We didnt want to go out every night, and the kitchen was very well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. It was really good that there is a gas grill (our favorite way to cook) right outside the kitchen, chefs knives, better than average cookware and enough settings for all of us. The backyard was even better. Very mature and lush landscaping. There were solid and yet cushiony loungers; and not just two of them, there were plenty. It was winter, so the saltwater pool being heated was important to us.

My friends and I rented this house for the New Years holiday. We were initially attracted to the mid-century design and the fact that the property was pet-friendly (more on that later). The house is a large, comfortable, authentic mid-century design with just enough 21st century upgrades to make it the perfect get-away spot. The main house has three bedrooms and two full baths and, for those who need a little additional privacy, there's a separate "casita" with king-sized bed, private bath and small kitchenette. Both the house and casita are impeccably decorated with mid-century furnishings and accents, including luxurious bedding, towels and amenities. The backyard and pool area are extremely private and well appointed. There was plenty of room for the six of us who were staying there, plus a few friends who were staying nearby. Most important for me, the yard was completely secure for my small dog. Never once did I worry that she might get out or get into any trouble.

We rented the PSEnvy house just before Christmas. We were going to book somewhere else but no one was calling me back or, if they did call me back, they wouldnt take my dog. Someone in the group knew this property manager in Palm Springs and he had a home but it (supposedly) wasnt ready. But we took it and I looked forward to getting away. First of all, I didnt even notice what the manager said was missing. The house was so cool and well prepared. There were blankets and extra pillowsso many details the owners thought of. Great towels and sheets. Nothing was on the cheap and that was an awesome surprise. Im sort of a designer wannabe and this house was sweet. First, midcentury all the way. If you love cool Palm Springs architecture, you have to check this out. a great Alexander that has been updated to give a bit more room, but still true to form. Inside, there was a fun yellow couch in living room. So perfect for Palm Springs and I loved it!
