In an effort to keep travelers and our workers safe, we are following recommendations to keep our homes vacant for at least 24 hours between guest stays. As well, travel or hosting restrictions constantly change and we can't always set search parameters to ensure the home fits your travel itinerary. When considering this home, please DO NOT automatically book. Rather, send us an inquiry and allow us to authorize or ensure the dates will work before booking. We thank you, in advance, for your patience and understanding. To further accommodate the appropriate time between reservations, early arrivals will be limited and there will be no late check-outs.
As part of the County Health Supervisor's restrictions on short-term lodging, extra "daytime" guests are not allowed during the Co-Vid pandemic. The only guests allowed on the property are the guests registered as overnight guests.
Following guidance from health organizations, some guest amenities will be modified per safety recommendations. I.E.: extra spices in the kitchen will limited, extra or decorative pillows and blankets will be removed, Modest changes but in favor of caution and guest safety. We have also invested in and are using an OSHA/EPA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant on hard surfaces and high-touch areas throughout each home.

Enter the living room and you’ll enjoy an open floor plan with beautiful new tile floor. With plenty of seating, everyone can enjoy an easy afternoon or perhaps an early cocktail hour before heading out to dinner. The living room flows seamlessly into the dining room so no one misses out on the action. The contemporary dining area features seating for 6 or up to 8 comfortably and is steps from the kitchen.
The well-stocked kitchen with new stainless appliances has all the tools you’ll need to make entertaining a snap. Downtown is just minutes away just in case you’d rather enjoy the city and sights of Palm Springs.
This home offers great bedroom separation and sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom, on one side of the house, is spacious and offers its own private, full bath with step-in shower. On the opposite side of the house, you’ll find 2 guest rooms: one guest room offers a king bed while the other offers 2 twin beds. These twin beds can be converted to a king with prior notice to management. Just outside each of these bedroom doors is their guest bath. It's worth noting that in the living room, the sofa actually has a pullout queen bed. Please ask management ahead of time for the bedding... they will make it available.
The backyard is almost fully decked with tons of entertaining space and plenty of covered seating, too. Outdoor dining is covered so you can maximize outdoor living both day and night. There are 4 chaise lounges to catch the rays you were seeking in Palm Springs. The outdoor kitchen will make grilling fun and the counter at the grill with bar-stool seating ensures you can bring cocktails and snacks to keep the grill master entertained. There’s a half-bath/powder room on the patio for everyone’s convenience.
Named after the owners’ charming 4-year old Yorkie, PS Murphy is an ideal getaway: comfortable, uncomplicated and suited for every age! Dog-friendly, of course! Murphy wouldn't’ have it any other way.
Please note that the maximum number of guests for a home this size is 6 (8 if the 2 additional guests are 12 years of age or younger) per Palm Springs Ordinance #1748. It should also be noted the City has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. No outdoor amplified sound (music) at all. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves.
