From the breeze block entry off the covered detached 2-car carport, the home opens up to an ideal floor plan with open living space to the left and the front of the home where the Master Suite and 2 guest bedrooms are well separated. The detached casita is its own Master suite with ensuite bath and retreat with a wall of glass overlooking the pool and outside entertaining area. Totaling 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, PS Groovy offers a generous 2,400 square feet of Mid-Century Modern style and indoor/outdoor entertaining.
Off the front entry, the living spaces include a well-stocked granite island kitchen with bar stool seating and an open informal dining and living room area with clerestory windows and tongue and groove ceilings that accentuate the homes Mid-Century roots. The living room also features a gas brick fireplace, generous seating and large flat-screen smart TV with Direct TV satellite cable. The main house has beautiful Terrazzo floors throughout and all of the bathrooms are shower and tub combinations. The Master Suite in the main house and Casita offer king size beds; the two guest bedrooms are queen size beds. All of the bedrooms have their own flat screen TVs with cable access.
Outside, PS Groovy’s large entertaining backyard offers un obstructed views of the mountains, a large pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information), in-ground spa, gas fire pit with seating for four and raised outdoor dining area that seats up to 8 people. The 19th hole putting green is unique to this home allowing guests to brush up on their skills before hitting one of the gorgeous nearby public courses.
This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries and even closer to the boutique shops and restaurants of the Uptown Design District. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away - from area casinos to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, museums and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Racquet Club Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

Fantastic house, with beautiful furnishings and great attention to detail throughout. Amazingly comfortable beds, and plenty of extra blankets if needed. The pool area is totally private and the view of the mountains from the pool is majestic. We went with our group of friends for my birthday weekend, and my husband and I stayed in the casita. What a gorgeous room, looking out over the pool area. We will certainly be back for another stay.

Amazing house with everything you need for a great stay.
Spent Thanksgiving week at this house with a group of friends and it was perfect. The pictures are a great representation of what you're getting, but I will add that it's much more comfortable than we anticipated. One of our group was eight months pregnant and worried about the mod style being uncomfortable for her over several days, but she loved the house and didn't want to leave. The detached casita was perfect for us and our seven month old baby, and all the rooms inside the house were spacious and very well appointed for our friends. We cooked thanksgiving dinner at the house and had everything needed to pull it off. We paid to have the pool heated (I believe hot tub is included with rental but pool is extra) and it was worth it. We swam at night in November, it was great. On top of the house being better than expected, Scott from RelaxPS (who manages the property) could not have been more professional. I l

This house is mid-century jewel -- I loved it the moment I walk in. (Although the online photos are good, the house is better than the photos.) It looks as though the house was recently renovated, I was pleased that the Alexander charm was perfectly preserved while making sure that all of the living spaces were comfortable, not just perfectly designed. All of the just right amenities (enough towels, efficient washer/dryer, big spa and comfy beds) added up to a carefree and relaxing stay. Clearly the owners love this house and give it the attention that it deserves. I can wholeheartedly recommend this Groovy home to anyone looking for a 4 bedroom rental!
