As part of the County Health Supervisor's restrictions on short-term lodging, extra "daytime" guests are not allowed. The only guests allowed on the property are the guests registered as overnight guests.
Following guidance from health organizations, some guest amenities will be modified per safety recommendations. I.E.: extra spices in the kitchen will limited, extra or decorative pillows and blankets will be removed, Modest changes but in favor of caution and guest safety. We have also invested in and are using an OSHA/EPA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant on hard surfaces and high-touch areas throughout each home.

Located in the quiet and centrally located El Mirador neighborhood, just blocks away from the restaurants and shopping of Palm Springs’ Uptown Design District, this spacious home sits on a huge gated and fenced lot with fountain courtyard entrance, raised fire pit area and one of the largest pools in our collection of homes. The home has loads of windows, sliders and French doors that keep the home light and bright and allows for easy indoor to outdoor living and entertaining.
The front gate opens up to a large palm tree fountain courtyard with front yard spaces and sidewalks leading up to the home. The front hallway allows you to pass directly into the formal living room to the left, or, to the right, head on into family room and kitchen. The formal living room opens out to the front sidewalk through double sets of French doors with a gas fireplace and plenty of room for lounging and relaxing as well as a sleeper sofa. The family room sits off the gorgeously remodeled kitchen and beside the casual indoor dining area. The family room boasts a large 60” flat screen smart TV and views of the outside pool area. The granite island kitchen includes high end stainless appliances, a refrigerated wine cooler, buffet table and a long breakfast bar area as well which seats up to four comfortably up to four. Dinner can easily move to the indoor dining area that seat ups to 6 comfortably or exit out either set of French doors to the covered patio and dine al fresco poolside!
PS Retreat offers two bedrooms, well-separated from the living areas: one Master Suite and a guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom as well as an additional powder room for guests and company. The Master Suite has a King-sized bed, plantation shutters, flat screen smart TV, desk area and separate retreat or seating area with additional seating. The remodeled en-suite bathroom steps down to a gorgeous with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, beamed ceilings, flat screen Smart TV and en-suite bathroom.
Outside, the views are everything! The huge crescent-shaped pool offers a length-long tanning shelf with umbrella sleeves, large wrap around steps and a raised, cascading spa that affords stunning mountain views. Multiple seating areas from the raised fire pit that seats 6, al fresco dining for up to 6, café/breakfast/coffee seating for 2, covered casual seating for up to four with coffee table and lounging chairs of tanning with adjacent umbrella sleeves for protection. You will undoubtedly be spending the majority of time outdoors.
PS Retreat is the perfect vacation home for small families, couples that travel together or just a small group of friends. The El Mirador neighborhood is centrally located near the Movie Colony and Ruth Hard Park with easy access to the shops and restaurants of the Uptown Design District, Desert Regional Hospital and just a few blocks away from Downtown Palm Springs.
El Mirador is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. This affluent neighborhood is rich with architecture and Hollywood history. It should be noted this neighborhood has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
