This spacious mid-century home, built in 1955, has been completely updated for modern luxury living including new kitchen and baths. This desert escape is gorgeous, private, well-appointed; capturing the hip Southern California vibe of yesteryear while staying current with high-end conveniences like Bosch stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, gas fireplace, and an outdoor spa. All the bedrooms and the living room are equipped with Smart TVs, DVD players and Wi-fi enabled/USB docking stations.

The spacious floor plan of the living areas has been designed to accommodate your entire group. The kitchen, dining room and living room are all open to each other and offer direct access to the pool and patio. Inside there is plenty of seating for everyone in your group to connect, spend time together and enjoy informal dining, lounging by the living room double-sided gas fireplace or watching a movie. The all new, fully-stocked chef's kitchen offers a butcher block side island, a gas range, side-by-side fridge. Indoor formal dining for up to eight with an additional breakfast table near the pool slider for six.

The layout of the sleeping quarters makes PS Peacock very appealing to larger families and groups with a mixture of couples and singles. There are three masters - all with king beds, ensuite baths, smart televisions and ample closet space. One of the masters has a private patio with gorgeous mountain views and an extra alcove that is perfect for your portable crib (not provided but we can refer you to local vendors). The other two masters have direct pool access. The two additional guest rooms (one with a queen bed, the other with two extra-long twins, which can be converted to a king upon advance request) share a beautiful modern bath and both have gorgeous mountain views.

This vacation home has great curb appeal, off-street parking for five cars, and a spectacular private yard with a huge mosaic tile pool (be sure to check out the artistic inlay of seahorses and coral reefs) an adjacent spa, eight poolside double lounge chairs, an outdoor dining area near the gas-lined BBQ, and a separate private courtyard with a gas fire pit. This sundrenched yard is perfect for catching rays during the day and ideal for long evenings under the stars. The owners have thought of everything, creating the ideal Palm Springs escape.

PS Peacock is beautiful inside and out and lends itself perfectly to extended weekends, week or even month-long stays for the seasonal visitor to our city.

This property is centrally located in the quiet residential Sunrise Park neighborhood just a few minutes from Ruth Hardy Park, Desert Regional Medical Center, the casino, convention center and both the Downtown area and Uptown Design District of Palm Springs. Restaurants, nightlife, entertainment venues, grocery stores, and shopping boutiques are close by. Sunrise Park is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

We loved this house, there were 6 adults and 4 kids and we never felt crowded or on top of each other. We were in the beautiful pool all day and cooked/grilled at night. House was clean and had that 60s modern vibe we love, was totally clean when we arrived, and the management were super nice. Would totally rent with them again!

The hosts were incredibly flexible and very easy to communicate with. The house is really cute and spacious. Bonus - fresh mangoes from the tree in the front yard were delicious. We knew about the Palm Spring noise ordinances and had very quiet music playing in the early evening and got a major noise complaint so beware to anyone who wants to enjoy the outside. MUSIC IS NOT ALLOWED. Doesn't matter how quiet it is and what time of day, if any music is heard, you will get a call to turn it off. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

We chose this listing because it had enough bedrooms to meet our group size for my 50th birthday. The rooms in general are really large with plenty of closet space. The pool area is wonderful and we enjoyed it every day while we were there! I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable space, perfect for our large group visiting Palm Springs. We felt right at home allowing us to jump right into vacation mode. The house has all the amenities you could need and then some. Very close to downtown Palm Springs so its easy to get around. Hosts were incredibly responsive, making check in and check out super easy, as well as being available for any questions during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

This is our second year staying in a Relax Palm Springs home, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The property is spacious, immaculate and very modern. Lots of kitchen appliances and dishes, and everything is labeled so it's easy to find. Great outdoor space with a beautiful original pool, hot tub, grill and fire pit. Centrally located, so it's easy to Lyft/Uber, walk or bike downtown. 3 master bedrooms in this property with ensuite bathrooms, and they include make up wipes, some basic toiletries and hair dryers. Would definitely stay again!

Stunning! It's not so much the perfect mid-century modern details that make the Peacock house so wonderful. It's not even the walk-to-town location that makes it super fun. The mountain backdrop that is-real-but-almost-looks-fake? Not even the best part of this amazing destination. The truly BEST thing about this vacation home was the way it absorbs people. When we wanted to feel the love of our whole group, we hung out around the living room, the hot tub, or the fire pit. But when any one of us wanted a little quiet time, we took a nap in our peaceful bedroom or read a book on a cushy lounge chair by the pool. It is the best of all worlds.

It's a very fun, clean, festive house with mid century modern everywhere! The fire pit is wonderful and the hot tub and pool were perfect heated in early January! Close to everything in downtown Palm Springs and yet perfect location to head down 111 to Palm Desert or Rancho Mirage!

i recently stayed at palm springs peacock with a group of 8. we do a girls trip every year in palm springs. we always rent a different house, and this one was perfect for our group. the house is very clean, the pool is great (and huge!) and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals for a large group. we did have some very small issues during our stay and the relax palm springs staff was right on top of fixing them immediately. they were in touch via text and we all really felt like they were there for anything we may have needed. thank you relax palm springs for a great stay!

A Great Place To Stay in PS We had such a wonderful stay at the PS Desert Peacock during Weekend 2 of Coachella 2018. We required a house that would accommodate up to 10 adults for a 4-night stay, and this house did not disappoint. Close proximity to downtown, a great pool / Jacuzzi combo, and a comfortable spacious layout definitely means that we'll be back next year!

Great layout for groups, immaculate, awesome pool We had a group of 10 ladies here to attend the BNP Paribas tennis tournament - great HUGE bedrooms and arrangement worked well for us (we didn't mind sharing the large king beds, and we put the thrashers in the room with twin beds). Comfy communal space. In the past we would attend matches during the day and at night, but with such a nice setting for hanging out and eating, we skipped the night time matches and ate in many nights. Great options for dining in town (found some live music) and readily available Ubers, but at the end of a long day in the sun, sitting around by the pool in our "outfits" was heaven. House was immaculate, well stocked kitchen (tons of spices!). Spa took about 1/2 hour to warm up but was lovely. Great hiking close by. Plentiful parking at the house which was great because we were coming and going at different times.
