A mid-century home built in 1957, the home was designed noted local architect Donald Wexler and has been thoughtfully updated to blend its mid-century origins with today’s desert lifestyle. Centrally located in the Sunrise Park neighborhood, this home is a peaceful retreat away from the world’s cares yet offers easy access to shopping, dining and all that Palm Springs offers. Pull up into the circular driveway or tuck your car into the single-car carport and let your vacation begin.
An open concept living arrangement, the home opens into a short entryway with the well-stocked galley kitchen to the left and, to the right, the hallway leading to the home’s three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Continue in and step into the main living space including a the spacious dining area with bar cart opening to the large living room with plenty of seating for the entire company. Both dining and living rooms have wrap-around views of and sliding glass doors to the pool and side and back yards. Clean lines with just the right amount of color pops, the furnishings are classic modern mid-century for an Instagram-worthy phone full of vacation photos. The living room has a large SmartTV with cable access and streaming capabilities.
Outside, a generous side yard holds a large green yard with open air pergola for semi-covered lounging or gathering near the gas BBQ. A sparkling lap-style pool runs the length of the back of the home with concrete block divisions that allow overflow from the generous spa to wash back and forth. The back patio offers full coverage, several seating and lounging areas and two inset fire pits. Visit during one of the multiple citrus blooming seasons in Palm Springs and you will be enraptured by the scent of orange and lemon trees poolside.
The master bedroom offers a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, SmartTV with cable and slider access to the pool and spa. The two guest bedrooms sit at the front of the home separated by their shared guest bathroom (with tub/shower combo). Both bathrooms are stocked with fine towels, hairdryers and Moulton Brown amenities to get your stay off to a delicious smelling start. One guest holds a king bed and TV; the other holds a queen bed.

Sunrise Park is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

We had a great time at this wonderful and so cutely designed house; with Stylish 70s vibes. Nice clean comfortable space to chill and relax. Loved the back yard, its so spacious with different hang out areas to lounge. Nice pool to cool off. Location is very central in a clean quiet neighborhood. Super friendly property manager made check in/out process so smooth with detailed and precise communication. No music outside rule is enforced, but ok inside with all doors/windows closed. Overall great stay for a relaxing time.

The house was great. Very close to downtown. The pool noodle that was at the house was a bit worn and I made mention to Rob. Then he came by with 4 brand new pool noodles. That is the type of service you can expect. Sometimes it is the little things that makes the difference. If you have kids, its a great house for kids especially since the pool is only 5ft. Very much recommended!

My family has a great stay! The house was awesome, it had everything we could have wanted and then some. The pool and grounds were beautiful. And the location was fantastic! We were sad to leave. I was traveling with little kids and it was a great house to have them in, particularly nice because the 2 bedrooms other than the master do not open up to the pool, which is nice for safety. Highly recommend.

The hosts are responsive and helpful. Tons of floats for the pool, board games and puzzles galore, and the pool/hot tub-side fire pits are a nice touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at PS AmadoMio. The location was perfect, house was very clean and thoughtfully put together and the service and communication from Relax Palm Springs was outstanding. We had an unexpected issue with the pool when we checked in, and Relax Palm Springs worked quickly to fix it. Brad, Marty and David were all lovely to deal with and I highly recommend renting from them any time you are in Palm Springs! We can't wait to go back to AmadoMio as well as the other houses in the Relax Palm Springs collection.

A Sugestion for the cleaning crew, to go more in detail on the living room and patio sofas, dinning chairs and dinning rug. They are beautiful and perfect for the place but they have some old stains on them, making them look dirty. Looking forward to come back again soon, perhaps the last week in October. We were delighted to stay at this lovely home. Inside and out the architecture, design and furnishings are gorgeous. The premises is impeccably clean and everything one might need is provided. The pool and hot tub were luxurious. Beautiful furnishings and spacious interior spaces combined seamlessly with the divine patio area. We have stayed in many rental properties in Palm Springs and I have to say this particular home was by far our favorite! The modern architecture and design inside really captures the beauty of Palm Springs! The house isnt big but lives and feels much larger than it is because it has a stunning wall full of windows to the pool area! The property management was so great with communication and the set up at the house with robes, slippers, note books and such made the home feel so luxurious! The pool is perfect for play or lap swimming! We will for sure be coming back to this house! We loved it so much we are currently looking for our own modern oasis to buy!

This house is wonderful and is perfect for a stay in Palm Springs! The backyard is fantastic - comfortable lounge chairs and two robust umbrellas (sometimes such an overlooked amenity!) for plenty of shade over them, great outdoor table and chairs for a meal, nice propane grill that worked well, and the extensive grass area was awesome for lawn games or also in our case a space for our dogs to run around. The hot tub is perfect to hang out in during the evenings and heats quickly, and the pool while not being huge, is definitely big enough to swim or play in. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice, kitchen had all the supplies and hardware that you might need, AC was operated through a nest and was quick to the cool the place off. Living room area had a big tv and comfortable chairs to lounge in. The house included plenty of cleaning amenities, shampoo/wash, paper towels, tp, band-aids, pool towels, etc which was nice. Communication with the rental group was quick and easy, and any questions we had were answered promptly. Only drawback I can think of is the slightly smaller kitchen, but there was still plenty of room to cook/prepare and let's be real you don't need everyone crowding the kitchen at a time anyways. We would definitely choose to stay at this house again next time we plan to be in the area!
