With a backdrop of mountain views, the home’s dining area features a seamless wall of glass that opens to a huge pool and spa with an astronomical amount of tanning, lounging, and dining space for the perfect Palm Springs getaway.
As you pull up to the home, you’ll notice plenty of parking with dual driveways; one of which is covered. The home begins with an entryway and entrance to guest room #1 with an ensuite bathroom. This spacious suite offers a king bed, 50" TV, an electric standing desk with an HD monitor and a modern spa shower. Continuing in, the open-concept living and dining area consists of a casual living room with gas fireplace & large mounted flat screen TV, dining space with seating for eight and a large island kitchen with counter seating. Floor to ceiling glass doors slide back to reveal the amazing pool and spa just steps from the dining area and kitchen. Additionally, the door off the living room opens out to the outdoor BBQ area, gas fire pit, and gaming lawn around the corner. The home offers an upgraded mesh Wi-Fi system that covers the entire property and dimmable recessed lighting throughout.
Off the living and dining areas, you’ll find; guest bedroom #2 which has the second King Bed, Smart TV, a writing/working desk and another ensuite bathroom. Guest bedrooms #3 and #4, both with queen beds and Smart TVs which utilize the shared hall bath.
Outdoor living is what this home features best with an amazing 40 ft saltwater pool and huge spa. Chaise loungers located around the pool as well as a large seating area naturally shaded by the home in the afternoon offers plenty of places to relax and enjoy the mountain views from multiple sides. Al fresco dining for eight is located next to the built-in BBQ with counter space and continues to the gas fire pit surrounded by rocking Calypso style chairs. The side yard tucked around the West side of the house is a perfect outdoor gaming space. At sunset, the entire yard glows with expansive North and West mountain views.
PS Sputnik is located in Racquet Club West (adjacent to Racquet Club Estates), a small enclave of homes at the beginning of the Uptown Design District. The area is rich in mid-century design and history; just a few blocks and a quick 5-minute drive from all the action of Downtown Palm Springs. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
