From the entry off the covered 2-car carport, the home opens to an ideal floor plan with open living space to the left and, to the right. Walk from the front of the home down a common hallway featuring your primary bedroom (with en-suite bathroom) and the guest bedrooms and the guest bathroom. Totaling 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this home offers the classic Hugh Kaptur floorplan with 1,829 square feet of mid-century modern style and indoor/outdoor entertaining.
Off the front entry, the living spaces include a well-stocked island kitchen with an open informal dining and living room area with windows and natural light. The living room also features generous seating and large flat-screen smart TV with streaming capabilities. The primary suite offers a king-size bed and smarty TV; the two guest bedrooms offer 1 king and 1 queen bed each. The master bathroom, fully renovated with designer touches, offers a walk-in shower while the guest bath offers a step-in shower.
Interesting to note about his house, the home has has a bonus room added. it's a large, sunny family/game room with it's own largescreen smart TV. It connects to the house through the first guest room. But, it's a delightful way to entertain multiple generations of a family, maintain direct access to the pool and patio and it even sports an eneclave offering twin trundle beds, a writing/work desk and yet another TV.
Outside, the entertaining backyard offers views of the mountains, a great 14' x 28' salwater pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information), a separate above-ground spa and multiple seating lounging areas. The fire pit is center stage with casual and comfortable seating for dramatic mountain views as the backdrop. There are also several lemon trees that, in season, would make cocktail a breeze or add snap to your dinner prep.
This beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries and even closer to the boutique shops and restaurants of the Uptown Design District. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away - from area casinos to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, museums, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Desert Park Estates is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

"An easy 5-star rating place to stay in Palm Springs! Very clean and stylish place with everything you need. The location of this vacation home is perfect, a few minutes from downtown, where all the great places to eat are. The three bedrooms and the bonus room fits comfortably for eight of us. Not to mention, the pool is great additional entertainment for the kids. Plus, the owner was very accommodating, letting us drop our bags early. We would definitely book this place again!"

The house looks just like the pictures but way better in person. It's located on a quiet street with spacious bedrooms and a lovely backyard. We came down with our some friends and my son for a fast summer vacation. The house had plenty of room with all the amenities and what made it magical was the little details put into the home. There's a hot tub and the pool is heated. However, we honestly didn't need the pool heated in the summer because it was already warm and the weather was extremly hot. The unexpected bonus was the lemon tree in the backyard. We helped ourselves to use some for our salmon bake. It was great! My friends and family loved this place and we plan to book for future mini reunions.

We stayed at this property with a group of friends for my counsin birthday, 6 adults and 2 kids. There was plenty of space for everyone, the kids loved the star war theme home and breakfast outside by the pool. At night we would all jump in the hot tub and do a night swim. It truly was perfect for a fast mini vacation away from the city. Would definitely stay here again.
