Welcome to the #AutryLodge condo at the desirable Ocotillo Lodge. This complex was designed by Palmer & Krisel, built by Alexander, and the speakeasy was a former hangout for the Hollywood stars of the time including the Rat Pack. Gene Autry, at one point, loved the lodge so much he bought the entire Lodge and lived in this specific unit. The Ocotillo Lodge offers free high-speed Wi-Fi & cable plus one of the largest pools in the area. The lodge also features 2 big flower-shaped hot tubs with awesome jets and laundry. The Ocotillo lodge is historical, architecturally significant located in the less-windy South Palm Springs area, minutes from downtown with the Ace and Suguaro hotels, Koffi, Elmers and more either walking distance or short bike rides away.
With only two neighbors, no one is above you and this unit has a private patio and over-sized garden area others don’t affording you great San Jacinto Mountain views while enjoying the firepit, fountain and charming outdoor living/lounging spaces. The unit is centrally located to the pool, spa and clubhouse. It’s a charming 1 bedroom bungalow, styled to the nines for the quintessential mid-century life but with modern comfort. Comfortable seating in the living room with a smart TV, it’s condo offers great views from any room with rooms flowing seamlessly into each other. A king-sized bed, a gas BBQ and so much more! The Well-appointed kitchen is fully equipped for a short or longer stay. The bathroom offers rare double vanities and the classic shower/tub combo.
Again, this beautiful vacation rental is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Other Palm Springs attractions are similarly a short drive away, from area casinos and gambling, to world renowned spa resorts, tennis, golfing, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The clubhouse is current closed and not available to residents.
The Ocotillo Lodge is a premier “neighborhood” of Palm Springs, rich with architecture and history. It’s a tight-nit collection of homeowners who know each other and The Lodge has it’s own set of full-time residents. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” condo. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.

Classic Palm Springs
Our first stay at the Ocotillo Lodge complex, and we’re hooked. Our suite was elegantly furnished with period antiques (iconic platform couch, Temporama in the cupboard) and tasteful, period-appropriate upgrades. Wonderful Stay in Palm Springs
The Autry Lodge was everything it was described to be. A beautiful mid-century modern escape. We had everything we needed, in a beautiful setting for a relaxing vacation. The backyard area provided a soothing retreat with a grill, ample seating and fire pit. Brad the property manager was responsive, friendly and helpful. Great sunny bright location!
Perfect place for two people in a great location; close to everything. Brad gave us great instructions and came right over after our arrival and welcomed us and send us a list of great restaurants in Palm Springs. The bungalow is bright with a nice view of the mountains, well cared for, a nice yard and the kitchen has everything you need. There is a big pool and hot tub on the property and it is very quiet. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable week here and were able visit a lot of attractions around the area, including Indian Canyon, Joshua Tree Nat. We Loved Our Stay!

Perfect PS Getaway
We enjoyed Auty Lodge at the Iconic Ocotillo Lodge. The unit was so well furnished with tastful mid century style. Bed was very comfortable and love all the BIG windows and sliding doors to the outside. Yard was perfect and fire delightful to sit by with a glass of wine and see the mountains. The pool only steps away. Huge pool nice and warm and at times we were the only people in it. And to top off the great stay we had Brad as a host. Great Condo!
We stayed for a week in November and had a really nice time. The unit itself is exactly how it appears in the photographs. The interior is airy and filled with light and you have a great view of the mountains to the west. The outside is spacious and comfortable. There is a fire pit you can use in the evening. The bed was very comfortable (just watch your shins navigating near the foot of the bed). If you wanted to cook, the kitchen is well stocked. Palm Springs
