PS Hummingbird
The entryway opens to writing desk outside the slider to the back yard walk and patio. To the left lies the main living areas - a great room concept with casual dining for 6, well-stocked kitchen with breakfast counter seating, and the living room with large, streaming TV and gas fireplace - and then the primary suite. To the right of the entry is the guest bedroom and its dedicated hall bathroom and then the junior suite. The Modern Contemporary furnishings and art throughout give the home both style and whimsy to your vacation setting while the high ceilings and open layout offer space and comfort. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and do their own thing or come together for meals and games.
Sliders off the living room and kitchen exit out to the pool deck with al fresco seating for 8, plenty of loungers including two generous adjustable chaise loungers as well as two daybeds on the opposite side of the sparkling pool and spa. The built-in gas BBQ area lies just to the side of an additional casual seating area right outside the Primary Suite sliders. Built-in misters over the casual seating and two chaise lounges make a delightful respite when you need a break from the sun but want to continue to enjoy those gorgeous mountain views. This is a home created for a memorable Palm Springs retreat.
Sleeping quarters breakdown:
The official primary suite with king size bed, large streaming TV, separate seating area, huge bathroom with dual vanities AND dual showers (and amazing chandelier lighting), walk-in closet and separate toilet/water closet. The primary suite has sliders off to the front pool patio and BBQ area.
A junior master suite with king size bed, large streaming TV, walk-in closet, step-in shower and separate toilet/water closet.
One guest bedroom with queen size bed, full closet, slider to back patio and walk. The dedicated hall bathroom has a shower/tub combo and snazzy custom lighting.
The home also has a two-car garage and laundry room with big front-loading washer and dryer.
Just a short drive to downtown Palm Springs, with its many attractions, shops, restaurants, and art galleries, you are never far from partaking in what the city has to offer. Other Palm Springs attractions are just minutes away: from area casinos to world-renowned sporting attractions like the BNP Paribas and ANA Inspiration (formerly the Dinah Shore Classic) and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. In Palm Springs there is something for everyone.
Murano is a unique neighborhood in Racquet Club Estates. It's an area full of custom architecture, just steps away from the historic Mid-Century homes of the Racquet Club Estates neighborhood. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed.
- Per City ordinance, no music is allowed outside the (fully enclosed) home, at any time of day.
- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. After booking, we will request an picture of the front of your ID.
- Per City ordinance, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home.
- Pool Heat is optional but available for $49/day; usually appropriate to heat the pool mid-October to late June. Some advertising platforms will have us add pool heat after booking. Feel free to confirm as necessary.
- Where pet(s) are accepted, this is dog(s) only and we cannot host any other kind of animals in our home.

Epic week at PS Hummingbird!
We had an amazing week at the PS Hummingbird. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Not one complaint. It is conveniently located and yet very quiet at the end of a cup de sac. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen where we made several meals. Beds are comfy and all rooms spacious. The outdoor space is the real star. The pool was warm and the hot tub heated on demand very quickly. Many comfy outdoor places to lounge, both sun and shade. Overall, very good
House was nice and well kept. On a quiet cul-de-sac at the edge of main Palm Springs houses. We liked the location. The outdoor area was great and the rooms were nice. Management wasn’t very responsive or present, which was overall fine except when we had issues with extremely stiff pillows. We fixed it ourselves (spent an hour of our vacation going to Target, buying, leaving the pillows behind for future guests, not getting reimbursed), which was disappointing. a little tennis and hiking in PS
lovely house. clean, light, lots of towels. it can be a bit breezy. the public tennis courts in Ruth Hardy park are lush. lots trailheads in town. Satisfactory Visit
The house is conveniently located to everything. Handsomely appointed, spacious, well-equipped kitchen and great outdoor areas including lemon and grapefruit trees. The property management firm is A plus. Professional, friendly and attentive. The house lacks good HVAC system, poor showers and the bedding needs to be replaced. Wonderful house

Wonderful vacation rental
We really enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Just needs a bit more lighting
Loved the outdoor area and the well stocked kitchen. You certainly get the mid-century modern Palm Springs vibe from this rental. Clean and in a great, quite location. My only wishes would have been a TV in the 3rd bedroom, hairdryers in all bathrooms, and better lighting outside at the dining table and grill area as it was hard to see while preparing and enjoying dinner. This home has it all!
My friend and I met here for a long ladies weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. The property managers were very easy to communicate and coordinate with for check in and during. The house is absolutely beautiful and very well appointed. The kitchen had all the things you'd need and then some for cooking at home. The outdoor space was lovely and relaxing. Its a secure fenced yard for dog owners too. The house is in the departing flight path of Palm Springs airport but its not a busy airport and there was not too much air traffic during the day and none at night so it wasn't terrible in terms of airport noise. Better Than The Pictures!
This home is amazing! The pictures don't do it justice! The outside oasis was perfect for our group of 6. The home was so spacious, much more than we expected. I loved the attention to detail in the decor and landscaping. The home is in a central location and a short drive to just about anywhere. The views of the mountains is unmatched, especially watching the sunset and rise! If you're looking for a great place to relax, relate, release...this is it! We'll definitely be back!
