An amazing getaway!
It was an absolute pleasure staying at PS Retro. The entire team who manages this property we so accommodating and the home had everything we needed for a wonderful stay indoors. I loved the kitchen, the living space and of course the pool was beautiful. When I did venture out, the home was in a great location minites from downtown. Thank you from the bottom of my heart team. I hope to come back very soon!

Wonderful spring break
This is my third time renting with Relax and I have loved the homes . Pictures an honest representation of what you will be staying u. . PS Retro was beautiful -pool great - nice appliances and well stocked kitchen. The best is the care u get from Brad as your property manager - he is great ! Excellent restaurant suggestions. Will stay with Relax again .

Very Nice Home
Overall it was a very nice home and a great stay! Loved the living room with fireplace! The outdoor area was super, other than the pool decking needs some replacing work. Pretty rough on feet around perimeter. House was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it!

The best best
It was perfect. Our host Brad was wonderful, there when we needed him but enough space to make us feel like it was our own home. The house has absolutely everything you would need.. we stayed for two months and we’re happy as clams. Perfect location, perfect pool, perfect everything honestly.

Great Place to Relax!
Lovely mid century house in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space to relax in. Well appointed kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make drinks. The pool was great. Peaceful neighborhood. Gets a bit windy because of the location but it wasn’t an issue.

We had a blast!

Coachella Fun

Magical Stay
We had a magical stay! This house had everything we needed for the perfect girls' trip. We particularly loved the outdoor space, but on the few really windy days we equally enjoyed that ample living room (had enough space for 5 ladies to do yoga). The kitchen was AWESOME. We love to cook together and this kitchen had everything. Most of the houses I have rented have minimal supplies. This was more equipped than my own home. Great Stay
We had an amazing stay! The securing clips on the hot tub cover are broken, and the wind kept blowing the cover off! We rigged some string to secure, but you might want to consider replacing those! Mid Century Gem
When in Palm Springs, you have to immerse yourself in the colorful, swanky & atomic city it is and staying here gets you right in that state of mind. A mid century gem , tastefully appointed, vibrant and comfortable. Shake a martini, relax poolside or lounge on the sun beds, plenty little corners to get your PS vibe on. The kitchen is nicely stocked for plating your afternoon happy hour, beds are comfortable. The location is close to town, and the quiet neighborhood is perfect for a morning walk. We paid to heat the pool, if you come here in the winter, treat yourself to this little splurge, its worth it. PS has enacted some new rules, so even your favorite rat pack music outside is forbidden, honestly our only disappointment. This home is professionally managed and it shows. Hospitality

Good Vibes

Even in the Cooler Weather Enjoyable

Property Team and Home was great
Love the house. The decor was as amazing in person as it is in the pictures, the kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Outside, the pool was phenomenal and the fire pit was lovely. There were some small maintenance issues that could be addressed. The hot tub was dirty and the pool company didn't clean it. The ice dispenser in the door was clogged with a large solid chunk of ice, and the dishwasher wasn't working properly. None of that was enough to dampen our trip, and the property management company was responsive and at attentive when issues were brought up. Enjoyable

Mid-Century Touches
We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children staying here in July 2020. The home was very clean and well appointed. We loved the mid-century modern touches. There was plenty of seating, and a great Sonos system. Outside the huge pool was the main feature. We all were in it every day, all day with plenty of room. The view of the mountains was fantastic. I would suggest a few more umbrellas around the pool area. The neighborhood was great and felt very safe. It was a nice area for long walks and seeing plenty of mid-century modern homes. Stars all around
5 stars all around, the house is amazing! We basically lived in the spacious backyard with the large pool and jacuzzi, the house had plenty of amenities such as towels, and have a fully stocked kitchen. We cooked all of our meals and had absolutely everything necessary, they even have blenders and food processors! PS Retro was fantastic! This stylish house has everything needed for a relaxing stay. We spent our time swimming, grilling, and chilling out. The enclosed yard was great for our small pup. The detailed information provided by the property management made our stay easy and comfortable. Lonnie greeted us at check-in, and walked us through the property -- the management company was quick with a text response to remedy a small snag. Beyond 5 Stars
Wow. This house was amazing a lovely home away from home. From Check in to Check out beyond 5 star. The house has a lovely layout for a family to enjoy, the bedrooms are together on one side of the house which makes it perfect for families with children. The main master bedroom has direct access to a patio in the garden and the bathroom also has a door leading in to the garden with access to an out door shower, it made easy access getting in and out the pool with out having to walk through the house. The open plan living space makes it enjoyable space to relax and have family meals together, the kitchen is a chefs dreams has everything you could possibly need to cook up a lovely meal. The outdoor space is just as amazing as the house the pool was lovely we did have it heated which I would recommend for the colder months, the most amazing sunset views from the hot tub. The fire pit was bliss for the chilly nights. The fruit trees are a lovely additions to the garden. Brad and Johnathan from RPS are to great to communicate with no down time on responses. I have say a special Thank you to Brad who checked us in and out of the property, he kept me updated 24 hours before we arrived regarding road closers and was very patient with us when our ETA changed from arriving in 5 mintues to arriving in 1 hour due to unexpected traffic and road closer. This house is perfect for a family getaway, Down Town PS is a 10 minute drive, also very close to other amenites like grocery stores and shopping outlets. Original Posting Date: 03.06.19

Great Mountain Views

Great House
Great House, Great Location, Excellent Host The PS Retro House is exactly as advertised. Scott Fields was a great host and was always available to help us with anything we needed; fortunately everything was fine so we didn't need him after the initial meeting and walk through. One thing to note; the flooring is a pebble type inlay that really looks great but we found it to be a bit rough on bare feet. Other than that the inside of the house is great. Truly Relaxing
A truly relaxing, beautiful vacation with all the amenities! My two sisters, dad, and I had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home. We cooked meals, spent time around the pool, spent time in the evenings in the jacuzzi and around the outdoor fire pit. Better than a Hotel
Better than any hotel. We stayed here for 6 nights for a work project. Three of us stayed in this house and we also used it as a meeting/gathering spot for the rest of our team. This house is so well laid out for groups. We cooked breakfast every morning for our work group before meetings and it was incredibly well equipped. We were also amazed at the range of small appliances available in orange;) The attention to detail is impressive! We loved our incredible thick soft towels and luxury bedding. Home away from Home
PERFECT. In November 2015, we stayed for 3 weeks at the property on East Francis, and can truly say it was a home-away-from-home for us. The house is beautiful, very nicely appointed and more than comfortably furnished; the yard and pool are simply amazing. We have stayed at a number of homes in Palm Springs over the years, and never have we enjoyed such a well equipped kitchen. We cook gourmet dinners every night, and didnt have to buy a single kitchen gadget or utensil, right down to the storage containers for left overs, everything has been provided! Girlfriend Getaway
Great location and wonderfully designed house with so many features! We stayed here for a girls getaway and it couldn't have been more perfect! We loved the location..it was a 10 minute drive to the airport, 5 minutes to restaurants and grocery stores! The kitchen had everything we needed! The living room couch was perfect for us all to hangout and chat. Everything was so well decorated and made it such a fun house to stay at! We absolutely loved the outdoor space...the pool and hot tub and dining area were great! We loved having a lounge chair for each of us and the bean bag floaties for the pool were a fun surprise! We ABSOLUTELY loved the sonas system, it was so fun and easy to use! We were so appreciative of Scott and his hospitality, he was always very responsive, helpful and made everything so easy which helped us enjoy are vacation that much more. Thank you so much!!! The Pool Float Lover
This property is well maintained and features an outstanding pool for the lap swimmer as well as the pool float lover. The bean bag floats are heavenly! The kitchen is beautifully equipped with upscale appliances, cookware, dishes and bar ware. The indoor fireplace is wonderful for cool mornings with coffee, and the outdoor fire pit is nothing short of ginormous! The house is nicely decorated with PS colors- bright orange, turquoise and lime green. Totally fun for the desert locale. Beautiful Home in Racquet Club Estates
Beautiful Home with all the amenities. We stayed at the house over Thanksgiving with another family and had a wonderful experience. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and had brand new appliances, so we had no problem preparing our turkey and stuffing. It was a little chilly, so we didn't get in the pool much, but the large fire pit was perfect for snuggling and enjoying the desert sunset. Maybe the most impressive thing was how few problems we had during our stay. From the Sonos surround sound speakers to the jacuzzi, every little detail of the house was ready to go and worked perfectly. On top of that, Scott made the booking, arrival, and departure incredibly easy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody. Original Saltwater Pool Fabulous
We rent quite often in Palm Springs but hands down this was the best. The saltwater pool was so refreshing and didn't burn our eyes. Especially since we spent most of our days in it. The home and outdoor space was comfortable, spacious, well maintained and clean. There were three couples in our group and not once did we feel cramped. Living room is spacious and there is also a sitting area and two dining areas. We also had a dog which was thrilled to see the doggie door. Easy access for him to get to the yard. I'm the cook of the bunch and I found everything I needed to make our meals and some extras that I want to purchase for my home. Something else I want to purchase is the SONOS amazing!!! Fabulous Home
We enjoyed our visit so much! My husband and I loved staying in this amazing house. It was fully equipped and decorated with uplifting, bright colors. The backyard has a beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi and was landscaped perfectly. The home is located very close to downtown, so we were able to enjoy some time on the town as well. Mid Century Experience
This house epitomizes the mid century palm springs experience. Walking through the doors feels like you're going back in time. The house has been renovated down to the orange solo cups yet retains modern luxuries. Our favorite was controlling the house sound system with the sonos phone app. And the bean bag rafts for the pool! The property manager made us feel like we had a personal travel assistant. Only downside of the trip was the short duration. Next time we are staying longer! A Few Lovely Days
We just returned from a lovely few days break at this wonderful house! Myself, husband, two children (9 and 11) and golden retriever stayed there for 3 nights. The plan was to have a leisurely time - lounge by the pool during the day, eat well, sleep well and generally chill.happy to report we successfully achieved all of these!! The house is beautifully decorated and extremely well stocked we did not miss any item we needed in the kitchen for example. I loved the thought and attention put into the house design and it really is exactly how it looks in the pictures. LOVED the Sonos system (its on the Christmas list now :)) The pool area is spectacular and the pool itself surprising cool (even in the 106 degrees temperature during our stay). A Real Pleasure
We needed a few days to reboot and experience a little change of pace. The property was brand new, perfectly appointed, and expertly managed by Scott - who was super accommodating and responsive from initial point of contact all the way through check-out. The interior was recently remodeled and successfully captured the mid-century vibe. Awesome bedding, awesome sonos throughout the house. Really good flow to the space with plenty of light. Close to everything - but didn't have any reason to leave. Kitchen had all we could want and we rocked the BBQ at least twice a day. The space out back had it all - a huge yard, awesome pool with killer views of the mountains, hot tub w color changing LEDs (!), and a gas firepit we will make use of when we visit in cooler weather... A real pleasure - already looking forward to our next visit! Relaxing at Retro
We were looking for a place to spend a week in Palm Springs and after careful consideration we chose this house. We were not disappointed at all. The home looks exactly as it is presented to you in the pictures. We are a small family of three and the house provided us with ample room. The family room is comfortable and has a great flat screen with cable. The kitchen is very well stocked, maybe even better than mine, oh no. Scott was very personable and willing to help us if we needed anything. Our little dog Thor loved the house too! Lots of space in the backyard for him to explore. I am saving the best part for last. The pool was absolutely fabulous, we spent a ton of time in it. The Sonos system was also a total bonus. Maybe not, the husband wants one now. The towels and beds were also very comfortable. I was sincerely ready to move in by the end. Can't praise the house enough. We will definitely consider coming back as soon as we can. A Blast at PS Retro
First vacation we have had in 5 years...and boy did we pick the right place!!! The home couldn't be more beautiful or comfortable. We had sun and rain during our visit so we tried to use every amenity...pool is huge and we recommend using the bean bag floats...so cool...bbq'd burgers, used the hot tub, and the fireplace is gorgeous. So many super cool little features...if you love mid mods you will love this place. We can not wait to come back...personally wouldn't recommend for families with kids...however we brought our Pom and he loved it! Scott is an awesome host...the only negative was that the master shower didn't work for us...that was kind of a bummer having to use the guest shower for 3 days...but wouldn't deter us from booking again. Lovely!!!
The house was beautiful and well kept. We were glad the Manager didn’t meet us at the house to show us around because nobody wants to have to speak politely with someone in your own space after a super long travel day! Texting communication was perfect! Would recommend & stay again!
